ABOUT THE FACILITATOR

Vanessa M. Moore

Vanessa M. Moore, is a CPFA (Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor) specializing in retirement plan consulting. She began her career in the financial services industry working for 401(k) & 403(b) Advisors where she consulted with clients in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Vanessa brought her expertise with retirement plans to Zephyr Investment Management, helping plan sponsors navigate their complex fiduciary responsibilities. At the plan level, she helps employers with DOL/IRS compliance issues, plan design, fiduciary training, human resource best practices, vendor troubleshooting, fee benchmarking, investment oversight and more. At the participant level, she works directly with employees, helping them to maximize the benefit of their employer-sponsored plan and achieve their retirement savings goals.

Vanessa currently holds her securities registration through Osaic Securities Corporation, a registered broker/dealer and member of FINRA,  SIPC. Osaic is one of the largest networks of independent advisor firms in the country overseeing more than $700 billion in assets. Vanessa serves on the Retirement Plan Advisory Council (RPAC) for Osaic. RPAC is comprised of a select group of innovative advisors who specialize in retirement plans and serve as thought leaders. Vanessa was also named one of the Top Women in Retirement by the American Retirement Association’s NAPA (National Association of Plan Advisors). She enjoys volunteering and community service work as well as all types of outdoor activities.
