Anquilla Henderson

Anquilla Henderson brings extensive and diverse Human Resources experience across both the public and private sectors. She currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the award-winning Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA). Prior to joining CCWA, Anquilla was the Director of Human Resources for the newly established City of South Fulton, where she built the City’s Human Resources Department from the ground up, developing its full infrastructure, policies, and operational framework. She also served as Chair of the newly formed Henry County Government Board of Ethics.

Anquilla is recognized as a transformational leader in the Human Resources profession. She has received numerous awards and has been recognized locally, regionally, and nationally for innovation, strategic leadership, and fostering collaborative, high-performing teams.

Anquilla holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Administration and Development from Mercer University. In addition to her academic credentials, she holds several professional certifications, including Six Sigma Yellow Belt for process improvement and Senior Certified Professional (PSHRA-SCP) from the Public Sector Human Resources Association. She is also a registered mediator with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution and a Certified Workplace Mediator and Conflict Resolution Trainer.
