June Chapter Meeting

Thursday, June 4, 2026 (11:00 AM - 2:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Swing Into June: Lunch, Learning & Networking at Topgolf!

In today’s complex and rapidly changing workplace, HR professionals carry the dual responsibility of supporting organizational success and caring for the well-being of others—often at the expense of their own. This session challenges HR leaders to move beyond traditional wellness initiatives and embrace a holistic well-being strategy that begins with self-leadership. Participants will explore evidence-based approaches to creating thriving cultures that center human sustainability, belonging, and purpose. Drawing from leadership research, organizational psychology, and practical field experience, this interactive session will engage participants in reflective exercises, case studies, and peer dialogue. Together, we will examine how well-being impacts performance, retention, and innovation—and what HR leaders can do to model, measure, and sustain it within their teams and organizations.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Identify the key elements of well-being based on research by the Gallup Organization that influence individual and organizational thriving.
  • Implement practical frameworks and language to integrate well-being into leadership development, performance management, and culture initiatives.
  • Design action steps to foster a leadership practice of well-being for themselves and for leaders within their organization.
  • Commit to a personal well-being practice that strengthens their capacity to lead others sustainably. Measure the impact of well-being initiatives through meaningful data and metrics that align with organizational goals and employee experience outcomes.
