Sally started her HR career over 25 years ago as the “back up to the receptionist.” She has worked at the Director level, as a Global HR Director and as a CHRO. She has been a solo-practitioner and has led HR teams of 20. Working her way up the HR ladder has awarded her a unique perspective of all HR functions and has developed her core belief that you can put both People and Profits as top Priorities.

She considers herself a business leader with an HR perspective. While she enjoys crunching numbers, she loves the interaction with people that HR provides. She strongly believes in order to be a successful HR Leader, you must speak the language of finance and operations and align HR Initiatives with the needs of the organization. She enjoys solving complex issues, creating Positive Organizational Culture and building relationships.

Sally has been a SHRM volunteer for over sixteen years serving as President of CSRA SHRM and State Director for SHRM Georgia. She is the recipient of the SHRM GA Legacy Award, HR Leader of the Year, two SHRM Pinnacle Awards and has testified to a US Congressional sub-committee on the impact of the Affordable Care Act.

Outside of work, Sally enjoys Social Dancing, HIT and singing in her church choir.
