Virtual Workshop: Future-Ready, Strategic Problem Solving
Virtual Workshop: Future-Ready, Strategic Problem Solving
Thursday, August 13, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM) (EDT)
Description
Disruption isn’t an occasional event anymore; it’s the new operating context. Leaders are making decisions amid constant uncertainty, urgent competing priorities, and shifting constraints.
Today’s disruptive business environment drives a reflex to jump to solutions when challenges arise, often addressing symptoms rather than root causes and leading teams to work hard on the wrong problems.
Pragmatic Prospection—the ability to envision a future that does not yet exist and plan for it—is a critical leadership skill for strategic thinking and navigating complexity in this disruptive era. This workshop introduces a practical, two-phase approach to applying prospection to real business challenges.
Participants will practice the method, assess their current prospection capabilities, and identify strengths and opportunities. They will leave with a clear, actionable framework to slow down, learn from the past and present, and make more deliberate, future-oriented decisions—enabling stronger strategic planning and more sustainable outcomes.
Includes 1.5 HRCI CEU/SHRM PDC
